Description
The FamousLED 12V 300W IP67 Outdoor LED Power Supply is designed to convert AC input power into stable 12V DC output for compatible low-voltage LED lighting products.
This power supply is commonly used with 12V LED strip lights, LED modules, signage, landscape lighting, event lighting, accent lighting, and other 12V DC applications that require a reliable outdoor-rated power source.
The aluminum alloy housing helps with heat dissipation and long-term stability, while the IP67-rated enclosure provides protection for outdoor, damp, and moisture-prone installations.
This 300W model includes three 12V DC output leads rated for up to 100W each, with a total maximum output of 300W. For best performance and longer service life, we recommend using no more than 80% of the rated output capacity for continuous operation. For this power supply, that means a recommended continuous load of approximately 240W total, or about 80W per output lead.
Good ventilation is recommended. If the power supply overheats, built-in over-temperature protection may temporarily shut the unit down. Normal operation should resume after the power supply cools and the fault condition is removed.
Please make sure your LED product requires 12V DC before connecting. This power supply does not dim LEDs by itself and should only be used with compatible 12V DC lighting, controllers, and accessories.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
This power supply converts 110–260V AC input power into 12V DC output. It is commonly used for 12V LED strip lights, LED modules, signage, landscape lighting, event lighting, accent lighting, and other compatible 12V DC products.
-
No. This power supply outputs 12V DC and should only be used with products designed for 12V DC input. Using it with 24V LEDs will not power them correctly.
-
The maximum rated output is 300W total, but we recommend keeping the continuous load at or below 80% for best long-term performance. That means about 240W or less total.
-
No. This power supply has three output leads rated for up to 100W each. For best long-term performance, we recommend keeping each output lead at about 80W or less for continuous use.
-
This power supply is IP67-rated, making it suitable for outdoor and moisture-prone installations. It should not be treated as permanently submersible unless the manufacturer specifically confirms that use.
-
Yes, the IP67-rated housing is designed for outdoor and damp-location use. Make sure all wire connections, extensions, and controllers used with it are also properly rated and protected for outdoor installation.
-
No. This power supply provides 12V DC output. Dimming, color control, or animation effects require a compatible LED controller installed between the power supply and the LED product.
-
Yes, as long as the addressable LEDs require 12V DC and the controller is compatible with the LED type. The power supply only provides power; it does not create data signals or lighting effects.
-
Power injection may be needed for longer LED runs or higher-wattage installations to reduce voltage drop. Always calculate the total wattage, check the current draw, and verify voltage at the far end of the LED run.
-
If the power supply overheats or detects a fault, built-in protection may temporarily shut it down. Once the unit cools down or the fault condition is removed, it should recover automatically.
-
Only if the bulb or fixture is specifically designed for 12V DC input. Do not connect standard household AC LED bulbs to this power supply.
-
Confirm that your LED product is 12V DC, calculate the total wattage, stay within the recommended load, verify polarity, and make sure all wiring and connectors are rated for the installation environment.
