Description
Power your portable 12V LED setup with this rechargeable 3000mAh lithium-ion battery pack. This battery is a direct replacement for the battery included with FamousMods LED Snowboard Kits and is also suitable for compatible 12V DC LED light bars, flexible LED lights, and other low-voltage electronics.
The battery includes a built-in power switch, LED charge indicator, wall charger, and a DC5521 1-female-to-2-male splitter cable. The splitter cable allows you to power two compatible 12V devices from one battery, as long as the total current draw does not exceed the battery’s rated output.
This battery pack has a nominal voltage of 11.1V and a full-charge voltage of 12.6V. Output voltage will gradually decrease as the battery discharges, with a listed operating range of approximately 12.6V to 9V. For best results, confirm that your device is compatible with this voltage range, connector type, polarity, and the 3A maximum output rating.
Charging is simple: connect the included 12.6V wall charger and turn the battery switch to the “I” position while charging. The charger indicator light changes from red to green when the battery is fully charged.
This battery is intended for portable 12V DC applications and should not be modified, opened, submerged, exposed to fire, or charged on flammable surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. This battery is listed as a direct replacement for the battery included with FamousMods LED Snowboard Kits.
-
This is commonly used as a 12V battery pack, but the nominal battery voltage is 11.1V. When fully charged, the battery is approximately 12.6V, and the output voltage gradually decreases as the battery discharges.
-
This battery can be used with compatible 12V DC LED light bars, flexible LED lights, and other low-voltage electronics. Before use, confirm that your device supports the battery’s voltage range, connector type, polarity, and 3A maximum output.
-
The listed maximum output is 3A. Do not connect devices that require more than 3A total current draw.
-
Yes, the included DC5521 splitter cable allows you to connect two compatible 12V devices. The combined current draw of both devices must stay within the battery’s 3A maximum output rating.
-
Yes. The package includes a 12.6V wall charger.
-
Connect the included charger and turn the battery switch to the “I” position while charging. The charger indicator light changes from red to green when the battery is fully charged.
-
Charging time is approximately 8 hours using the included 12.6V / 0.5A charger.
-
No waterproof rating is listed for this battery. Do not submerge it or expose it to water unless you have verified an official waterproof or IP rating from the manufacturer.
-
Modifying the battery, cable, or connector is not recommended. Do not open, modify, disassemble, or short-circuit the battery pack.
-
Yes, it can be used with compatible 12V LED strips, but you must confirm the strip’s voltage, connector, polarity, and current draw. Higher-power LED strips may require more current than this battery can safely provide.
-
Runtime depends on the power draw of the connected device. A small LED load will run much longer than a high-power LED strip or light bar. For best results, compare your device’s wattage or current draw to the battery’s capacity and 3A maximum output rating.
