FamousLED 12V WS2811 Addressable RGB LED Strip Light
This 12V WS2811 addressable RGB LED strip is built for custom lighting projects that need bright color, flexible control, and durable waterproof protection. The strip features high-quality 5050 SMD RGB LEDs on a black FPCB, IP68 waterproof protection, 3M VHB adhesive backing, and waterproof 3-pin connectors for cleaner installation.
Each controllable pixel can be programmed for custom colors, brightness levels, patterns, and animations when paired with a compatible LED controller. The strip works with popular programmable platforms including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, FastLED-compatible controllers, and many ready-to-use WS2811 / WS2812-style LED controllers.
The included waterproof 3-pin connectors make it easier to connect strips together without soldering. Additional power and ground wires are included for easier power distribution on longer LED runs.
Great for indoor and outdoor accent lighting, party lighting, holiday displays, signs, storefronts, bars, nightclubs, patios, decks, railings, stairs, ceilings, driveways, custom displays, and DIY RGB lighting projects.
Controller and power supply sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. This LED strip requires a compatible WS2811, WS2812, or WS2812B-style LED controller. A controller is needed to change colors, patterns, brightness, and animations.
-
Yes. This strip requires a 12V DC power supply. The controller and power supply are sold separately.
-
Yes. This LED strip is rated IP68 waterproof and is designed for indoor and outdoor lighting projects. Always make sure the connectors, power supply, and controller are also protected from water if used outdoors.
-
The strip is IP68 waterproof, but the full installation must be properly sealed before any submersible use. The controller, power supply, wire connections, and connector points must be protected from water.
-
This strip has 300 total 5050 SMD RGB LEDs, with 60 LEDs per meter across a 5 meter / 16.4 ft roll.
-
This depends on the internal pixel grouping of the strip. Many 12V WS2811 LED strips control LEDs in groups rather than controlling every single LED separately. Each controllable pixel or section can be set to its own color and brightness when used with a compatible controller.
-
Yes, but only at the marked cut points on the strip. Cutting anywhere else may damage the strip or prevent sections from working correctly.
-
Yes. The waterproof 3-pin connectors make it easier to connect strips together. For longer runs, additional power injection may be needed to prevent voltage drop and color fading.
-
Power injection means adding 12V power and ground at additional points along the strip. This helps keep the LEDs bright and consistent, especially on longer runs or when multiple strips are connected.
-
Yes. This WS2811 LED strip can be used with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, FastLED-compatible controllers, and many other programmable LED control systems.
